Don't Get Scammed!

This is an example of a forged cashier's check I received for a basket I had for sale. The UK "buyer" wanted to send me almost twice the value and wire transfer the overage back to him. HA!

Don't fall for this scheme. I know it may sound dumb to most by now, but there are still trusting/gullible people out there who fall victim to this. Friends, family, could be anybody you know.

The cashier's check looks convincingly real to the uninformed, but it's far from it. Most REAL cashier's checks I've seen have a mechanical imprint of the check amount in addition to the printed amount.
